Badges

Electronic Badges will be delivered at the welcome desk. Participants and exhibitors are kindly requested to wear their badges during all congress events. Admittance to the scientific sessions, exhibition and social events can be refused if the required badge cannot be presented. Exhibitors may ask delegates to scan their badge in order to retrieve personal data (incl. e-mail). Each participant is free to accept or deny sharing this information.

Cash Points

A Bank with cash machine is located next to the conference venue in the gallery situated on the left.

Certificates Of Attendance

Certificates of attendance will be delivered by email to all participants, no more than 2 days after the Congress.

The cloakroom is located at the main entrance of the Congress area.

Conference Language

The conference language is English, no simultaneous translation is provided.

Currency / Exchange

The French currency is euro. Exchange offices are located all around the city centre (exchange offices, banks, post offices).

The Congress Organisers act as agents only in securing hotels, transport and travel services, and shall in no event be liable for acts or omissions in the event of injury, damage, loss, accident delay or irregularity of any kind whatsoever during arrangements organised through contractors or by the employees of such contractors. Hotel and transportation services are subject to the terms and conditions under which they are offered to the general public. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance. The Conference Organisers reserve the right to make changes as and when deemed necessary without prior notice to the parties concerned.
All disputes are subject to resolution under French Law.

No first aid is available at the Congress Centre. In case of emergency, dial 115 to get specialised help.

EBAC

The “51st Annual Meeting of the Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology”, is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation In Cardiology (EBAC) for 22 hours of External CME Credits. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity. EBAC works according to the quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

In compliance with EBAC/ EACCME guidelines, all speakers/ chairpersons participating in this programme have disclosed or indicated potential conflicts of interest which might cause a bias in the presentations. The Organising Committee/Course Director is responsible for ensuring that all potential conflicts of interest relevant to the event are declared to the audience prior to the CME activities.

All registered delegates present on site are entitled to receive EBAC Certificate of Attendance. Certificates will be delivered by email after the Congress.

Coffee breaks and Lunches are included in the registration fee and will be served within the Exhibition area.

Insurance and Liability

The Organisers will accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to Conference participants, accompanying persons either during or as a result of the Conference or during all tours and events. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage and trip cancellation.

Free Wifi will be available in the whole building throughout the duration of the meeting.

Programme Changes

The organisers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to the external or unforeseen circumstances.

The Professional Congress Organiser (MCO Congrès) is located at the Registration Desk.

Registration Opening Hours

The registration desk will be located in the entrance of the 'Bellecour' hall of the Lyon Convention Centre (towards the north-east end of the buildings ensemble of the Cité Internationale de Lyon, near the Orange man statue).

It will be open during the following times:

March 30 :     07:30 - 17:00
March 31 :     07:45 - 16:45
April 1 :         08:30 - 12:00

During these times, preregistered delegates can collect their badges and congress materials. Please bring the bar code as proof of your advance payment which will be sent to delegates a week before the Congress takes place, and, if applicable, a proof of your student status.

On-site registration is also possible and credit card or cash payment will be accepted.

Speakers’ Preview Room

Is located on ground floor near registrations. Please make sure to hand in your presentation at least 120 minutes prior to the start of your assigned session. Private computers should not be used. Our staff in the speakers’ preview room will be happy to assist you during the opening hours:
